Saving the Nisqually Delta Author Presentation

The Sages ministry is proud to present Janine Gates, author of Saving the Nisqually Delta. She will discuss her book and present a slide show about the pressures applied by ports, counties, cities and corporations to industrialize the Nisqually Delta. She’ll discuss key moments in Washington State environmental history and why the delta is still threatened by urban and industrial encroachment. All are welcome to this special presentation! Who will step up to save the Nisqually Delta in the future?

Sages is a group of Good Shepherd seniors who gather monthly for special programs, socializing, snacks and spiritual camaraderie. The gatherings are to open to anyone regardless of age.
