Good Shepherd Care Ministry Team
Good Shepherd’s Care Team Work Needs You!
The next Care Team is Thursday, February 26 at 1:30 pm
The Care Ministry Team wants to invite each of us to live in an ever more caring way toward others. As a caring congregation, it takes many hands doing small things. You are welcome to share your gifts in any of the Care Team ministry activities. Ways Good Shepherd CARE MINISTRY TEAM Cares:
Praying with/for others (Prayer Team)
Reaching out to those in need of healing or in grief
Sharing Communion with folks at home (Homebound Communion)
Visiting and listening to others (in person, phoning)
Helping families
Connecting in celebration or difficult times (Funerals, weddings, baptisms …)
Planning opportunities (new ministries, forums)
Learning about ways to care for / with others
You are invited to join in this ministry of spiritual care to those in the congregation and beyond. This team works together with the pastoral leaders, because we cannot do this alone. Join in the ministry of care. It takes a village! We’d love to have you involved, so please consider participating. Attending meetings not required to participate in the Care Team.

Care Ministry Team Invitation
The Lutheran Church of The Good Shepherd is a very caring community, yet some of our members are silently suffering from isolation, illness (physical or mental), the challenges of aging or parenting, or family issues. The Care Ministry Team would like to encourage you to reach out to one person this week with a phone call, email/text, card or visit.
