Summer Hike & Fellowship

Summer Hikes for All Ages: Building Belonging One Step at a Time

We look forward to building a sense of community and belonging one step at a time through these enjoyable monthly summer hikes led by Good Shepherd folk. Come join in to enjoy nature, fellowship, and light exercise suitable for all ages!

Join in on the next summer hike on Saturday, July 11 at Woodard Bay Conservation Area. Pastor Carol and Jane Ann are the hike leaders. Meet at the main parking area at 3 pm, or at church to carpool at 2:30 pm (parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged). We can choose to hike the .8 mile (one way) Whitman Road Trail or the 1.3 mile Loop Train. Both are pretty flat. (Note: the Overlook Trail, at the northern end of the Chehalis Western Trail, is closed for the summer to protect nesting herons.) The natural trails may not be suitable for those with mobility challenges or very small children (contact the hike leaders with questions.) If you opt to meet the group at the trailhead, please contact the hike leader to let them know to expect you! The hike leaders can be contacted at 612-770-9648.
