Good Shepherd’s church picnic is Sunday, July 27 after worship in the parking lot where tables will be set up (just like BYO Lunch Sundays). Sun hats and sunscreen are a good idea as the sun and shade may move. This is a potluck, and our theme is “Christmas in July,” but we need more than just Christmas cookies & desserts, so please bring salads, vegetables, casseroles, etc. to make it a true potluck picnic. Please bring your food to the Crary Hall kitchen prior to worship. If your food needs refrigeration, you can put it in one of the refrigerators. There will also be a scavenger hunt with prizes for both kids and adults! Right after you eat, you can take part in a scavenger hunt. We will stay on the church grounds and be scavenging for natural things such as pine cones, round rocks, etc. It should be a lot of fun, so come to the picnic, eat wonderful food, then participate in the scavenger hunt (grown ups are encouraged to team up with children and youth). There will be prizes for everyone!
