Food Bank Struggling to Keep People Fed

The Thurston County Food Bank (TCFB) is realizing the results of both state and federal funding cuts - loss of staff; loss of funding; loss of food commodities; reduced donations. They request: canned meats (e.g. tuna, chicken, spam, etc.) and meals in a can (e.g. chili, beef stew, spaghetti O’s, etc.). Additionally, monetary donations are welcome to be sent directly to the TCFB, donate online or use the QR code that will be available by the donation box in Crary Hall. Thank you for your additional support to feeding our neighbors.

Seeking Thanksgiving Donations: canned corn or carrots, canned chicken broth, canned cranberry, canned yams, bulk flour, evaporated milk, Jell-O, pumpkin pie filling, and stuffing. Place donations on the cart in the church entry area through November 22.
