Celebrating God’s Promises through Play, Creativity, Wonder, and Joy

(with a side of s’mores!)

August 6, 7, 8 from 5 to 8 pm

On August 6-8, we’re bringing the joy, fun, and community of Family Camp to Good Shepherd. In the church’s beautiful green space, we will eat together, worship together, play games, partake in all kinds of crafts, learn about the Bible’s call for ecological justice, and just hang out! It’s all the fun of going to camp, compressed into three great nights!

All ages are welcome and encouraged to come to the Family Camp Nites! Children will be prioritized during these evenings, but there will absolutely be activities and spaces designed for older youth and adults. These evenings will not be schedule driven, and will be much more open. Children, youth, and adults will have the liberty to choose which activities they would most enjoy. So whether you’re interested in learning more about the Bible, playing music, exploring a new crafting skill, or playing games, there will be an activity for you each evening!

Each night will begin with a half-hour dinner followed by a 15 minute worship before opening up into the evening activities. For the sake of food and supplies, we are requesting a $15 fee be paid per child. Adults are free. And no one family unit will need to pay above $30. If money is a concern, simply reach out and we will make something work.
